ReplyDeleteI am in band and I play the flute. What I am learning in band is how to play the flute. We have been learning different notes such as b flat, d, e flat, c, and many more. We are learning how to read music and the different types of notes, whole notes, half notes, quarter notes. We have been learning two different songs not from the book, ones called Jingle Bell Tones and ones called Jingle Bells. Also there is a song from the book called Good King something or other. I can’t remember how to spell it. So that is what we are learning in band.
Here is what I am learning in P.B.L I am learning about heat I learned all about it. I am learning things like the sun and hot countries. I am also learning about other things too. That’s all the stuff I’m learning in P.B.L

ReplyDeleteThe activity I go to on Mondays and Wednesdays is Band. I really enjoy playing my clarinet. We are learning our Christmas pieces. So far I know six notes C, D, E, F, G and A. Mrs.P is really nice and funny. She is a very good teacher, and she makes learning to play really easy and really fun. I really enjoy band and I’m definitely going in next year. Band is one of my favorite things about school. I’m always looking forward to it, I love band.
I have learned about weather. I have learned how it works and it is pretty interesting and fun at first. I thought it would be hard but when you pay attention and do the instructions it becomes easy. I have learned that sound comes first before light .

ReplyDeleteIn my PBL group I am teaching a peer and that is Jasmine. I am studying hair it is fun she was doing a little test and she will finish it on Wednesday. I have also have made a paper that I have put pictures on to help her with her test. Hair is fun to study I have learned a lot about it in the last few weeks in PBL. I have learned about haircuts, how long it grows per month and a lot more!!! I am having a lot of fun in PBL.

ReplyDeleteI’m really enjoying what I am learning in PBL because Nikayla and I are helping each other with our projects, and we are helping each other do the presentation too! With Mrs. Borek we have these words, each day we work on what were doing e.g. I am doing a cardboard presentation with my word, balloon! If you do not know what I am talking about, I am showing my PBL group what kinds of balloons there are and I am painting it, cutting it, folding it, gluing it and all that stuff! So I am doing well in PBL. I LOVE PBL so much!

In band I am learning more music . I play the flute it is so much fun.We learn how to play new music.If we can’t play something she meets us in the pratice room and she teachs us lots of stuff.I enjoy working with W.L. We share lots of laughs.That is what I’m learning in band .

In band I am learning lots of new stuff. First of all I learned how to play the clarinet. Also I am learning a new song its called Jingle Bell Tones and Jingle Bells. I am reallly happy I joined band.

The things I have learned in the last two months in band
ReplyDeleteI learned how to play the notes on the trumpet C, D, E, F, G, A and B I’m now learning how to play Jingle Bell’s!! I learned there are three valve’s 1 2 and 3. I already have a little experience to the trumpet because I also play the piano. The best part about band is learning new songs like Au Claire De La Loon or Good King Wenceslas! I learned that you’re supposed to hold it up kind of tilted and how to hold a trumpet. I have learned a few stuff like F> (mean louder) , p> (mean softer), < (accent) and …. (staccato). The trumpet is a very fun instrument to play and learn!
I learned Projected Base Learning. I am learning in Projected, Base, Learning about the weather. I had to make a poster and a video in jasper. I couldn’t make them because it was my grate Granma and Grandpas birthday weekend. I had to bring my homework with me though.

ReplyDeleteIn PBL we learn lots of different things such as that there are lots of different ways to use a single word .For example light you could use it as light as in sun and light as in your light (weight). We learn lots of stuff that’s just one of the many! And there is still much to learn.I can not wait to see what we learn next!

I am in band and I like and my teacher. My teacher is really nice and she places the clarinet. I play the saxophone. On Wednesdays there is after school band. That why I like some of the rises I like band

ReplyDeleteI’ve learned lots in band I’m learning music now I play clarinet. There’s lots of instruments like trumpet, sax and there’s lots more. And are teacher is really nice she plays clarinet too she uses a trumpet sanded for her clarinet. This is my first year of band. I know how to read music. Are first concert is around Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteI am in band so I will tell you what I have and am learning. Right now I am learning jingle bells I am very good at it. Once I learn it I can play very well. There is guy that work’s with kateamivic hey is in the Northern Orchestra he play’s bass guitar just like me! Now you know what I play and hope you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteIn PBL we play exercise games. One game is hit the dummy. This game helps your aiming and your hand control. I like to play in PBL. In PBL we play exercise games.
