Term Two Learning Behaviours!
Hello Grade Fives!
Our first term is over and you have all been working hard to develop good learning behaviours: listening carefully to lessons and instructions, completing work carefully and completely, checking your work over for errors, preparing for quizzes, and asking for help as needed. Learning behaviours are not about marks, they are things you do, every single day, to help you become a stronger student.
As we move into term two, I would like you to share which learning behaviour(s) you are going to work on particularly hard. In today's response, and in a correct paragraph, please tell me which behaviours you have chosen. If needed, please listen (text-to-speech) to your comment prior to posting it to me.
As always, I look forward to reading your responses. I am very interested in what you are planning to do this term. I will make every effort to help you practice these learning behaviours.

This semester I’m going to try to be a better student than I am right now. The ways I’m going to be a better student is I’m going too study over old tests and quizzes so I don’t make the same error again. Another way I’m going to be a better student is I’m going to make sure my name is not on the board. The final reason I’m trying to be a better student is to listen to instructions better. Those are the ways I’m going to be a better student this semester.
ReplyDeleteIn term 2 I am going to use different learning behaviors. I am going to listen to whoever is talking in the class. I am going to talk when it is my turn, I will work harder and read when I’m supposed to. I will keep my promise when I write a paragraph. That’s what learning behaviors I’m going to use this term.

ReplyDeleteThis Term I will be working hard on a lot of different things such as preparing for tests. I will also be working on handing work in on time. This term I’m also going to try to handwrite full time. I am going to work extra, extra hard on paying more attention in class like during a lesson. These are all the things that I’m going to do to become a stronger student.

ReplyDeleteThis year I will work on behaviors for the future. I will work on ignoring distractions because that is always hard for me. Also not to forget my duotang at home. I’ll work on listening very carefully to instructions. These are my three behaviors I will learn for term two.
The behavior I think I should work on is writing and spelling. I’m going to work on them because it will make my paragraphs have a higher mark. I have a hard time working on them because I am always really busy. This term I will put aside more time to make my writing more interesting and my spelling better. That is what I’m going to work on this term.

Will be not distracting teachers and others around me, look at the speaker, I will hand in work where it is supposed to be handed in, I will bring my home work in the morning. There is one other thing I will respect my teacher!! Those are the learning behaviors I will work on!

ReplyDeleteHere are some of the learning behaviors I am going to try. #1 the first one I would like to work on is listening, you have important things to say and I shouldn’t be talking while you are because it is stuff I am going need for the rest of my life and shouldn’t be thrown out without notice. #2 the second thing I would like to work to work on is using time wisely, sometimes I seem to not be working on what I should and am just goofing off and wasting time and I don’t think that is good. #3 the third thing I think I should be working on is studying for tests, sometimes I take my work home intending to study but I don’t ever seem to I mean like really sometimes I do study but it never seems to be enough. So that are the learning behaviors I would like to work to work on.

ReplyDeleteThese are some of the things I’m going to do differently than I have been doing. For the rest of the year what I am going to do different is study for the tests. I am going to work harder than I have been. I’m going to listen more carefully than I have been. I’m also going to try to be way earlier than I have been. This one I haven’t had a hard time with because I don’t talk as much as some other people. Those are some of the things I am going to do different this year.

ReplyDeleteWhat I am going to do in the second term to help me learn. I am going to ignore distractions. I will have all my stuff in the class in the morning ready to learn. I will hand in work on time where I am required. Most of all I will not talk to my neighbors when someone else is speaking. That is what I am going to do in the second term.

ReplyDeleteHere are 10 different learning behaviors. One catch up with the others! Two be ready and on time. Three if you have work to do stay in for recess and/or take it for homework (always)!!! Four ignore distractions. Five Don’t use the washroom during class time. six get ready for tests. Seven DO NOT EVER FOOL AROUND!!!!!!!!!! ( you can save the energy for outside!) p.s don’t u even think about fooling around! Eight Listen to instuctions. Nine DON’T BULLIE OTHERS, if u get bullied just say shtop your beingz a bulliez!!!! Ten ask lots of questions!!! These are also the things I will be working on!

ReplyDeleteI am going to tell you about what I am going to change in this term! I am going to practice my Handwriting skills. I am going to study more for each quiz and test. I should look over my work very thoroughly. I should work harder on my paragraphs for Reading. Before you say “wow, this girl needs to work on a lot of stuff” I just want you to know that I had a really hard time brain storming all this. Well anyway Thank-you for reading all this!
This term I am going to have to re-do stuff and get it done there and then and then I think I will have that under control. I will be more careful about studying for spelling tests but we did just move in so we were very un- organized any way I will also work on my math and keeping my size right on handwriting. I think I am pretty good in everything else except some of the things that is just get Wong and that are something I can fix then and there ! I know that sometimes with my work I need to work harder on in but that is something that I am starting to do all ready when I raised my reading paragraph from 7-10 to 10-10 which I am very happy about and so that is that. Also I will be looking forward to making my marks and not only that but I hope I am all ready doing this but I will still be doing it any way but here it go’s I will be lessoning to Mrs. French when she is talking and be not talking when she is talking and put my stuff done when she say so and one more there are a lot more to but I will not put them done now but the last one is that I will no ever talk back to her in a million years.
ReplyDeleteThe learning behaviours I will de working on are handing in work on time and being ready. What I will be doing for being ready is remembering to bring every thing to class in the morning. For handing work in on time I won’t pout any wok in my desk. The final thing is being reedy for I will get work done. That’s how I will improve for term two.

So I can probably get a better mark so I can be on the honor roll that would be great. So my mom and dad would be proud of me that’s what I want. And I want to be done with my recorder. I would like to inprove some of my learning behavers likewating my turn and trying not to be disrespectful or rude. Those are some of my learning behavers I want to inprove. I will listen to whosever’s talking and I will hand stuff in on time and I will get ready for tests check my work over before I hand it in. I will try to ignore stuff that is out in the hall or outside. I can get my marks up in English. I am going to try more in art, PE, French, English and math.

Today in this blog I will be talking about what I am going to do different in the second term. I think I would work way better if I ignore distractions and if I study my old quizzes so I could see what I got wrong. Also if I put my work where I’m spouse to so I don’t have to redo it because it wasn’t there. I also think I could check all my work before I hand it in. But most of all I think I would work better if I study with my peers because I could learn new stuff so it is easier to tackle my mistakes. So that’s is what I am going to do different in the second term.

This term I will improve my learning. I will try to listen to instructions because it will help me in everyday things. I will try to miss less days of school in the second term than in the previous year’s . I will try extremely hard to get my tests and assessments signed on time. These are the three things I will try to improve this term.
ReplyDeleteI’m going to practice my math questions before I do my math tests. I’m going to practice my (T.A.) so I’m going to get all of it right next time. I’m going to practice math quizzes and tests. I’m going to practice when I get home every day. Its going to be hard but I can get through it fast when I practice. When I practice ill do hard questions and maybe really hard ones and then check them with my calculator.
ReplyDeleteI think I need to work on something’s to help me learn better. looking at the speaker when somebody is talking I also need to work on getting ready fast and on time for class before the second bell so I don’t miss anything important. I also should work on being ready for class so I don’t have to charge my self . I need to work on having a clean desk to so I can find stuff easy and I don’t have to dig for stuff in

ReplyDeleteGood learning behaviors for school I should work on. I need to make shore I don’t make any skin contact with others I need to work on that. Talking isn’t a good thing to do because then I’ll definitely get in trouble. I need to work on listening to a teacher for as long as possible. Hopefully I’ll be better next TERM!!@
