Dear Grade Fives!
Today, in your Blog response, I would like you to write a complete paragraph about what you would like to do over your Christmas holidays. In just four short weeks, you will have two weeks to enjoy some well-earned time off.

This is what I’m going to do over Christmastime. I’m going sledding and skating on my lake. Then I mite go to my friends house and have a snowball fight. I am going to my grandmas house. Than when its Christmas I am going to open my presents.
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas holidays are all about time with family. We usually go out into the middle of the bush and ride around on the skidoo and have fun in the snow. On Christmas day we always go to my Grandmas house for a huge meal. A few days after Boxing Day we go to Tactic Lake to go ice fishing and sledding. And that is what I do on the Christmas holidays!

ReplyDeleteMy dad and I will probably pick out a Christmas tree for Christmas!! I’m really EXITED for the presents and the family turkey dinner! Me my Dad and Mari will pick my Mom up from the airport because she is in Indonesia. We will go to the church on Christmas Eve with my Mom. We will NOT go any where for vacation and we will just relax just for fun!! And those are my Holiday plans! :)

ReplyDeleteThese are some of the things I want to do on Christmas Holiday. One of the things I want to do is get a Christmas tree, now getting a tree is no big deal for some families but in ours it is a big deal because we always go to a special place to get it, this place is no store or sale but a huge fir tree forest where we search for the perfect tree and after we get it we have a huge snowball fight and get back soaking wet and calling for hot chocolate. The second thing I want to do is make a huge snow fort in my yard, most people would say “what’s the big deal” but it is a big deal because this snow fort is going to be huge, gigantic, or incredibly large, take your pick it doesn’t matter to me, this snow fort is going to be so big that it will dwarf Mt. Everest with its enormity and when it melts it’ll make the Atlantic Ocean look like a puddle. The third and final thing I want to do is are wake up at 5am and open all my presents on Christmas morning and then have Christmas breakfast than play with my toys then have Christmas lunch then play with my toys than have Christmas dinner and go to bed. So that is what I want do on Christmas Holiday.

ReplyDeleteI’m excited for my Christmas Holiday! This Christmas I really hope my Grandpa Jerry will come over for Christmas, he lives in Vancouver! He didn’t come last time. My family always makes jokes, laughs, and we always make a gingerbread house. Last Christmas our hose was really crowded, and then me and my sister Darian woke up everybody at 5:00, we were eager to open presents, we will have a turkey dinner. I hope this coming Christmas will be like the others. My family is really really really really fun to be around. That is why I cannot wait for this Christmas! I hope your Christmas will be fantastic too, Mrs. French! I hope you enjoyed this paragraph! :)

ReplyDeleteOver Christmas break I’ll be staying here in Vanderhoof !Me and my brothers do a sort of switch thing where we go to Fort St. John one winter and stay here the next. It’s pretty AWESOME!!!!This winter me and my cousin are going to try to go to the old folks home to do volunteer work it should be fun!!!!!I can’t wait tell Christmas. Only a few short weeks tell freedom! Just kidding!

What I would like to do during Christmas holidays is go to the U.S. and see my step dad’s grandparents that live in Oregan. Our family really misses them and I miss them too. My grandpa is ninety six and my grandma is ninety eight. Plus we hate the cold. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I really hope I will get too see them this year. So that’s what I would like to do during Christmas holidays.

I love going to my grandma and grandpa’s (Unger’s) house on Christmas day. I love going crazy on Christmas day when I open my my presents.That is what I want to do on my Christmas holidays.

ReplyDeleteWe’ll be staying in Vanderhoof for the Christmas holiday.For the Christmas holiday I will be staying at my house but we’ll be going to our grandma’s and grandpa’s house and open presents.{ We do it every Christmas}This year we will be going to bed a little bit earlier than usual so we can get up early in the morning. We always listen to the radeo because it say’s where santa is at, last year we stayed up almost all night listening to the radeo{we stayed up almost till five o-clock}. The last time when we listened to the radio it siad that two people saw santa and siad that his sliegh was faster than the air plane that they were driving. Every year we line up youngest to oldest. First we read and act out the nativity story.

ReplyDeleteMy family and I are going to stay at home and have a Christmas dinner and go sledding and all the Christmas stuff my gramma is also coming down from the Okanogan with her boy friend. my dad will also come from Burns lake he will sleep over I will see my dad more over the holidays. I like to see my family on the holidays because I don’t get to see them often well because they all live so far away and I also like making cards and decorations for the tree we also have the decorations that we have all ready. I have a lot of fun putting the ornaments on the tree I love to see my little sisters playing by the tree and when we are all together it is a lot of fun and my mom’s friend kids might come over we have a lot of fun together.

ReplyDeleteOn my Christmas holidays I like go sledding A LOT! And sometimes I get to open presents on Christmas Eve which is cool. Opening presents is really hard for me because I JUST CAN’T WAIT! Well I guess I’ll have to wait till Christmas cill’n at home. I sure hope my Christmas is the most awesome Christmas ever.
During Christmas break I’m going to do lots of things. I’m going to get a sleigh ride from my grate grandpa. I’m going to go sledding at the bike park. The most fun thing to do is to celebrate Christmas with my family. That’s what I’m doing on Christmas break this year.

ReplyDeleteI would like to go and play at my dad’s because he makes big piles with his bobcat and sometimes me and my brother make tunnels but we have to be careful not to get snowed in and I would also like to make an ice rink . And that way I wouldn’t have to go public skating and be crowded on the ice. I would also like to go Christmas shopping I am going to get my family a present and my best friend present so that’s what I would like to do sincerely: turtle5fig
In my Christmas holidays I will go ski-dooing I have eight in my shop right now I have one of my own. I ride it lots and I ride my sisters too I also like to go and visit family. Every two years me and my family go out to a incredible cabin, it is so pretty. When we go ice fishing out there it’s really fun there is a little shack with holes! I’m going to do lots in my Christmas Holiday !
ReplyDeleteThere are many things too do over Christmas holiday. This Christmas I’m going too play Hockey, sled, skate and play around. My grandparents have tree farm so every year around Christmas day me and my dad go and get the Christmas tree. On Christmas I and my sisters’ wake up at 4;00 am too see our presents. That is what I’m doing this Christmas break.

Me and my family go to a place you wouldn’t know of because it isn’t on a regular map. It is kind of like camping but better. Every other Christmas I go there for Christmas. And this is all the cool things that I do on my Christmas holiday

ReplyDeleteI have lots of Christmas calibrations. All year long we can’t wait till Christmas. Our family watches Christmas movies all year long. The first thing I like to do in December is decorate the house with my Mom. Then my Dad and I go cut down the tree in our property with the chain saw. Then we decorate the tree ‘well’ I just through the ordainments on and hope they stick but my Mom does it properly and tells me to do it properly to. Once every year at December 5 we go to pick a name from the hat at Grammas house then witch ever name we get we get to by them a present. Then on the 23 we go back to Grammas house and we give them their present then we bring one more present to do the Christmas trade. The way that works is that we take a number the number 1 goes and they pick a present under the tree then number 2 goes and they have a choice to steel it or pick a present from the tree so that’s how it works. Then the 25 we have are Christmas. I wonder what I will get next year.
On Christmas holidays I will be doing many things. One of the things I will be doing is going to my gram prince. Another thing I will be doing is celebrating Christmas. The last thing is I will be celebrating Christmas for the second time back in Vanderhoof BC. That’s what I am doing for Christmas holidays.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas it is my favourite holiday my grandparents love it to. My favourite part about Christmas is having my family over. Here is a # list for you, #1; my family and I have Christmas Eve dinner. And next morning I get up and find Santa’s gift for me. #2, once everybody is up we have present time where we exchange presents it is a lot of fun. #3, we have Christmas lunch and then my family goes home which I hate that part. I can’t wait till my family comes up for this year Christmas and thank you for reading my paragraph.
ReplyDeleteI am going to sled and play with my new toys on Christmas. I really hope that I get lots of things on Christmas. I am very glad that my dad is home for Christmas. There are many different toys that I want and I will be going to my grandma’s house for Christmas dinner. I am just very glad that my whole family is going to be there for Christmas.

This is what I will be doing this Christmas. This Christmas I will be going to Vancouver for 13 days. I will also be going to Naimno to see my grappa and gram. But then we go home but school stars again. But on the last day I would be probably be playing legend of Zelda and get this thresh chest. On the way bake from Nainmo we will probably beating at a hotel.
